Mideco is pleased to announce Bat Booth®’s win in the prestigious APAC Insider Enterprise Awards. It has been named the Best Innovation in Occupational Health and Safety 2019 and the most Innovative Dust Removal Solution.

Each nominee is carefully examined by the judging panel consisting of respected industry partners. The winners are decided based on their performance over the past 12 months, their commitment to innovation and their methods to ensure that only the most deserving firms are awarded.
The Enterprise Awards acknowledge those companies who support Australia as one of the top 15 grossing economies in the world and contribute to maintaining the country’s international status.
This is Mideco’s first time participating in the APAC Insider Magazine Awards and we are pleased our commitment to quality and innovation have been recognized.
This award will add to a growing list of Bat Booth®’s trophies. The innovative design and effectiveness of our star dust extraction system has been already acknowledged locally and overseas.
Since the system’s launch in 2014, it has won “Highly Commended” award in the category of “Best Practice in Work Health & Safety” at the “Australian Bulk Handling Award” in Sydney in 2016.
Overseas it has been included in the Dust Control Handbook produced by NIOSH (The U.S. National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health). It was presented as one of the best examples of removing dust from personnel uniforms thus helping prevent dust-related diseases, in particular those caused by silica exposure. This award supports Mideco’s place as one of the leading environmental engineering companies in Australia.
